What you will be doing
As the Talentpool Team Leader you will be responsible for managing a team of Longlisters and Talent Poolers within our Global Sourcing Team.
The Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality longlists and talent pools, ensuring that both live role and talent pooling processes are effectively managed and aligned with business objectives.
This role will be heavily focused on KPI’s and performance in addition to partnering in with the wider business around the strategic direction of how the talent pools evolve.
This role requires a strong background in recruitment, excellent leadership skills, and a strategic approach to sourcing and talent management.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Performance Management
- Manage and lead a team of Longlisters and Sourcers, providing guidance, training, and ongoing development.
- Set clear performance targets and KPIs for the team, ensuring that sourcing and longlisting objectives are met.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, offering constructive feedback and identifying development opportunities.
- Create a collaborative and high-performing team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and best practice.
Operational Oversight
- Oversee the delivery of longlists for live roles and the creation of high-quality talent pools for future hiring needs.
- Ensure that advert responses are processed efficiently and that shortlists are produced to a high standard.
- Monitor and manage workload distribution to maintain balance and efficiency across the team.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide strategic solutions to improve sourcing effectiveness.
Candidate Sourcing and Talent Pooling Strategy
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to enhance the quality and diversity of candidate pipelines.
- Ensure that talent pools are accurately maintained and aligned with business needs and market trends.
- Provide strategic insights on talent availability and sourcing challenges to senior stakeholders.
- Partner with the sourcing team to identify future talent requirements and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly.
- Define roadmap / strategy in partnership with Talent Marketing and Insights on engagement strategy
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment between sourcing activities and business priorities.
- Work closely with Global Sourcing Management and recruiters to understand job requirements and sourcing challenges.
- Provide regular updates and reports on team performance, market trends, and sourcing insights.
Process Improvement and Compliance
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance sourcing efficiency.
- Ensure the team adheres to internal policies and compliance standards, including data protection and candidate management protocols.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the candidate experience and improve sourcing outcomes.
